Education Qualification
Assistant Professor (Anaesthesia) – (i) A recognized Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree qualification included in the First Schedule or Second Schedule or Part II of the third Schedule (other than licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (102 of 1956). Holders of Educational qualifications included in Part II of the Third Schedule should also fulfill the conditions specified in sub-section (3) of section 13 of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (102 of 1956). (ii) Post-Graduate Degree in the specialty or super specialty, i.e. Doctor of Medicine (Anaesthesiology) or Master of Surgery (Anaesthesiology). Experience – At least three years’ teaching experience as Senior Resident or Tutor or Demonstrator or Registrar in the concerned specialty or super specialty in a recognized teaching institution, after obtaining the first post-graduate degree
Assistant Professor (Cardiology) – (i) A recognized Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree qualification included in the First Schedule or Second Schedule or Part II of the third Schedule (other than licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (102 of 1956). Assistant Professor (CTVS) – (i) A recognized Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree qualification included in the First Schedule or Second Schedule or Part II of the third Schedule (other than licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (102 of 1956). Holders of Educational qualifications included in Part II of the Third Schedule should also fulfill the conditions specified in subsection (3) of section 13 of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (102 of 1956). (ii) Postgraduate Degree in the specialty or super specialty, i.e. Magister Chirurgie (Cardio-Thoracic and Vascular Surgery) or Magister Chirurgie (Thoracic Surgery) or Magister Chirurgie (Cardio Surgery) or Magister Chirurgie (Vascular Surgery). Experience – At least three years’ teaching experience as Senior Resident or Tutor or Demonstrator or Registrar in the concerned specialty or super specialty in a recognized teaching institution, after obtaining the first post-graduate degree
Assistant Professor (Gastro Medicine) – (i) A recognized Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree qualification included in the First Schedule or Second Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule (other than licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (102 of 1956) and holders of Educational qualifications included in Part II of the Third Schedule should also fulfill the conditions specified in subsection (3) of section 13 of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (102 of 1956). (ii) Postgraduate Degree in the specialty or super specialty, i.e. Doctorate of Medicine (Medical Gastroenterology) or Doctorate of Medicine (Gastroenterology) or Doctor of Medicine (Medicine)/Doctor of Medicine (Paediatrics) with two years special training in Gastroenterology. Experience – At least three years’ teaching experience as Senior Resident or Tutor or Demonstrator or Registrar in the concerned specialty or super specialty in a recognized teaching institution, after obtaining the first post-graduate degree
Assistant Professor (Gastro Surgery) – (i) A recognized Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree qualification included in the First Schedule or Second Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule (other than licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (102 of 1956) and holders of Educational qualifications included in Part II of the Third Schedule should also fulfill the conditions specified in subsection (3) of section 13 of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (102 of 1956). (ii) Postgraduate Degree in the specialty or super specialty, i.e. Magister Chirurgie (Surgical Gastroenterology) or Master of Surgery (Surgery) with two years of special training in Surgical Gastroenterology. Experience – At least three years’ teaching experience as Senior Resident or Tutor or Demonstrator or Registrar in the concerned specialty or super specialty in a recognized teaching institution, after obtaining the first post-graduate degree
Assistant Professor (Nephrology) – (i) A recognized Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree qualification included in the First Schedule or Second Schedule or Part II of the third Schedule (other than licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (102 of 1956). Holders of Educational qualifications included in Part II of the Third Schedule should also fulfill the conditions specified in subsection (3) of section 13 of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (102 of 1956). (ii) Postgraduate Degree in the specialty or super specialty, i.e. Doctorate of Medicine (Nephrology) Experience – At least three years’ teaching experience as Senior Resident or Tutor or Demonstrator or Registrar in the concerned specialty or super specialty in a recognized teaching institution, after obtaining the first post-graduate degree
Assistant Professor (Neurology) – (i) A recognized Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree qualification included in the First Schedule or Second Schedule or Part II of the third Schedule (other than licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (102 of 1956). Holders of Educational qualifications included in Part II of the Third Schedule should also fulfill the conditions specified in subsection (3) of section 13 of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (102 of 1956). (ii) Postgraduate Degree in the specialty or super specialty, i.e. Doctorate of Medicine (Neurology). (B) Experience: At least three years’ teaching experience as Senior Resident or Tutor or Demonstrator or Registrar in the concerned specialty or super specialty in a recognized teaching institution, after obtaining the first post-graduate degree
Assistant Professor (Psychiatry) – (i) A recognized Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree qualification included in the First Schedule or Second Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule (other than licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (102 of 1956) and holders of Educational qualifications included in Part II of the Third Schedule should also fulfill the conditions specified in subsection (3) of section 13 of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (102 of 1956). (ii) Postgraduate Degree in the speciality or super speciality, i.e. Doctor of Medicine (Psychiatry) or Doctor of Medicine (Psychological Medicine) or Doctor of Medicine in Medicine with Diploma in Psychological Medicine or Diploma in Psychiatry (Edin) of two years course or Diploma in Psychiatry (Mc. Gill) University, Montreal, Canada of two years’ course. (B) Experience – At least three years’ teaching experience as Senior Resident or Tutor or Demonstrator or Registrar in the concerned specialty or super specialty in a recognized teaching institution, after obtaining the first post-graduate degree
Assistant Professor (Pulmonary Medicine) – (i) A recognized Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree qualification included in the First Schedule or Second Schedule or Part II of the third Schedule (other than licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (102 of 1956). Holders of Educational qualifications included in Part II of the Third Schedule should also fulfill the conditions specified in subsection (3) of section 13 of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (102 of 1956). (ii) Postgraduate Degree in the specialty or super specialty, i.e. Doctor of Medicine (Tuberculosis) or Doctor of Medicine (Tuberculosis & Respiratory Diseases) or Doctor of Medicine (Medicine) with Diploma in Tuberculosis Diseases or Diploma in Tuberculosis & Chest Diseases or Doctor of Medicine (Tuberculosis & Chest Diseases). (B) Experience: At least three years’ teaching experience as Senior Resident or Tutor or Demonstrator or Registrar in the concerned specialty or super specialty in a recognized teaching institution, after obtaining the first post-graduate degree
Assistant Professor (Surgical Oncology) – (i) A recognized Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree qualification included in the First Schedule or Second Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule (other than licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (102 of 1956) and holders of Educational qualifications included in Part II of the Third Schedule should also fulfill the conditions specified in subsection (3) of section 13 of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (102 of 1956). (ii) Postgraduate Degree in the specialty or super specialty, i.e. Magister Chirurgie (Surgical Oncology) or Master of Surgery/Master of Surgery ((Ear, Nose, Throat)/Master of Surgery (Orthopaedics)/Doctor of Medicine (Obstetrics and Gynecology) with two years special training in Surgical Oncology. (B) Experience: At least three years’ teaching experience as Senior Resident or Tutor or Demonstrator or Registrar in the concerned specialty or super specialty in a recognized teaching institution, after obtaining the first post-graduate degree.
Assistant Professor (Radiology) – (i) A recognized Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree qualification included in the First Schedule or Second Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule (other than licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (102 of 1956). Holders of Educational qualifications included in Part II of the Third Schedule should also fulfill the conditions specified in subsection (3) of section 13 of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (102 of 1956). (ii) Postgraduate Degree in the specialty or super specialty, i.e. Doctor of Medicine (Radiodiagnosis) or Doctor of Medicine (Radiology) or Master of Surgery (Radiology). (B) Experience: At least three years’ teaching experience as Senior Resident or Tutor or Demonstrator or Registrar in the concerned specialty or super specialty in a recognized teaching institution, after obtaining the first post-graduate degree
Assistant Professor (Urology) – (i) A recognized Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree qualification included in the First Schedule or Second Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule (other than licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (102 of 1956). Holders of Educational qualifications included in Part II of the Third Schedule should also fulfill the conditions specified in subsection (3) of section 13 of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (102 of 1956). (ii) Post Graduate Degree in the specialty or super specialty, i.e. Magister of Chirurgie (Urology). (B) Experience: At least three years’ teaching experience as Senior Resident or Tutor or Demonstrator or Registrar in the concerned specialty or super specialty in a recognized teaching institution, after obtaining the first post-graduate degree.
Engineer & Ship Surveyor-cum-Deputy Director General (Technical) – Certificate of competency of marine engineer officer class-I (Steam or Motor or Combined Steam and Motor) as specified in section 78 of the Merchant Shipping Act, 1958 (44 of 1958) or equivalent as specified in section 86 of the said Act and five year’s service at sea of which one year service as Chief Engineer or Second Engineer, Desirable – One year experience in survey and inspection of merchant ship and one year experience in survey, inspection and examination of a merchant ship.
Scientist ‘B’ (Junior Geophysicist) – Master’s degree in Physics / Applied Physics / Radio Physics and Electronics / Geophysics / Applied Geophysics / Geology / Applied Geology from a recognized University or equivalent. Equivalent word is defined as under:- Master’s Degree (at least two year degree course after graduation) in Physics / Applied Physics / Radio Physics and Electronics / Geophysics / Applied Geophysics / Geology / Applied Geophysics / Marine Geophysics or Geology / Earth Science / petroleum exploration / Geophysical technology / Geo-exploration / Exploration Geophysics from a recognized University / Institution. (B) Experience:- Three years’ research and / or practical experience in the electronics aspects of Geophysical Instrumentation and repairs of such instruments. OR Three years’ experience in the actual conduct and interpretation of Geophysical Survey work, particularly with reference to groundwater.
Medical Officer (General Duty Medical Officer) – (i) A recognized MBBS qualification included in the First or Second Schedule or Part-II of the Third Schedule (other than licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. Holders of educational qualifications included in Part-II of the Third Schedule should also fulfill the conditions stipulated in sub-section (3) of section 13 of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. (ii) Completion of compulsory rotating internship. Candidates who may not have completed rotating internship shall be eligible to appear for the written examination provided that, if selected, they shall have satisfactorily completed the compulsory internship before appointment.
Senior Lecturer (Anaesthesiology) – (i) A basic University or equivalent qualification included in any one of the Schedules to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (102 of 1956) and must be registered in a State Medical Register or Indian Medical Register; (ii) M.D. (Anaesthesiology) / M. S. (Anaesthesiology) from a recognized University / Institution or equivalent. (B) Experience: Three year’s teaching experience in the concerned specialty after acquiring postgraduate qualification as Lecturer/ Registrar / Senior Resident / Demonstrator / Tutor in a recognized Medical College / Teaching Institution
Senior Lecturer (Forensic Medicine) – (i) A basic University or equivalent qualification included in any one of the Schedules to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (102 of 1956) and must be registered in a State Medical Register or Indian Medical Register; (ii) M.D. (Forensic Medicine) from a recognized University/Institution or equivalent. (B) Experience: Three year’s teaching experience in the concerned specialty after acquiring postgraduate qualification as Lecturer/Registrar/Senior Resident/ Demonstrator /Tutor in a recognized Medical College/Teaching Institution
Senior Lecturer (General Medicine) – (i) A basic University or equivalent qualification included in any one of the Schedules to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (102 of 1956) and must be registered in a State Medical Register or Indian Medical Register; (ii) M.D. (Medicine)/M.D.(General Medicine) from a recognized University/Institution or equivalent. (B) Experience: Three year’s teaching experience in the concerned specialty after acquiring postgraduate qualification as Lecturer/Registrar/Senior Resident/ Demonstrator /Tutor in a recognized Medical College/Teaching Institution
Senior Lecturer (Paediatrics) – (i) A basic University or equivalent qualification included in any one of the Schedules to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (102 of 1956) and must be registered in a State Medical Register or Indian Medical Register; (ii) M.D. (Paediatrics) from a recognized University/Institution or equivalent. (B) Experience: Three year’s teaching experience in the concerned specialty after acquiring postgraduate qualification as Lecturer/Registrar/Senior Resident/Demonstrator/Tutor in a recognized Medical College/Teaching Institution
Senior Lecturer (Tuberculosis & Respiratory Diseases) – (i) A basic University or equivalent qualification included in any one of the Schedules to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (102 of 1956) and must be registered in a State Medical Register or Indian Medical Register; (ii) M.D. (Tuberculosis) / M.D. (TB and Respiratory Diseases)/M.D. (Medicine) with T.D.D.D.T.D. or D.T.C.D./M.D. (TB & Chest Diseases) from a recognized University/Institution or equivalent. (B) Experience E: Three year’s teaching experience in the concerned specialty after acquiring postgraduate qualification as Lecturer/ Registrar / Senior Resident/Demonstrator/Tutor in a recognized Medical College/Teaching Institution.
Senior Lecturer (Pathology) – (i) A basic University or equivalent qualification included in any one of the Schedules to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (102 of 1956) and must be registered in a State Medical Register or Indian Medical Register; (ii) M.D. (Pathology)/Ph. D. (Pathology)/D.Sc. (Pathology) from a recognized University/Institution or equivalent. (B) Experience: Three year’s teaching experience in the concerned specialty after acquiring postgraduate qualification as Lecturer/Registrar/Senior Resident/ Demonstrator /Tutor in a recognized Medical College/Teaching Institution.
Senior Lecturer (Radio Diagnosis) – (i) A basic University or equivalent qualification included in any one of the Schedules to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (102 of 1956) and must be registered in a State Medical Register or Indian Medical Register; (ii) M.D. (Radiodiagnosis) /M.D. (Radiology)/ M.
