Applications on prescribed form are invited from the permanent residents of Jammu & Kashmir State possessing the prescribed academic qualification and age for the post of Assistant draftsman (Translation) in Law, Justice & Parliamentary Affairs Department under 2nd Special Drive as per the category-wise break-up tabulated below. The post carry the pay scale of Rs. 9300 – 34800 + G.P. 5400. The applications complete in all respects and accompanied with the documents detailed hereinafter should reach the office of the J&K Public Service Commission Polo Ground Srinagar/ Resham Garh Jammu by or on 2018. Assistant Draftsman (Translation)
- Minimum = 18 Years
- Maximum = 37 Years
- Physically handicapped candidates = 39 years
- Candidates belonging to RBA/SC/ST/ALC/SLC categories = 40 years
- In Service Candidates = 40 years
- Ex-serviceman = 48 years
Education Qualification – Bachelor’s Degree in Law with proficiency in Urdu language. Two years actual Bar practice at Bar and three years experience in translation of legal documents.
Explanation – Two years continuous actual practice at bar. (Certificate from the Principal District and Session Judge concerned. Three years experience in translation of legal documents. (Certificate from concerned Principal District and session judge or in case of in-service candidates from the concerned Head of the Department. Proficiency in Urdu language. (Certificate from any University having passed examination with Urdu as one of the subjects at Graduate level.)
Application Forms – (a) Application Forms can be obtained from the office of the J&K Public Service Commission, Resham Ghar Colony, Bakshi Nagar, Jammu/Polo Ground Srinagar on cash payment of 500/- (excluding processing charges of Rs.10/) in respect of General Category candidates and 250/- (Excluding processing charges of 10/-)in respect of Category candidates through the counters of J&K Bank opened in the offices of J&K Public Service Commission at Polo Ground, Srinagar/Resham Ghar Colony, Bakshi Nagar, Jammu. (b) The OMR Application Forms should neatly and correctly be filled in. A copy of passport size photograph should be pasted at the relevant space in the Application Form and duly attested by the Gazetted Officer. (c) The Application Form complete in all respects should be photo-copied. The photocopies of the certificates/testimonials be attached with photocopy of the Application Form. The OMR Application Form together with the photocopy of the Application Form and enclosures be submitted to the Commission office in the envelope provided by the Commission along with the Application Form.
